Scottsdale Newborn Photographer The Z Twins

Being a mom of twins myself, it is always a little exciting have twins in the studio and these two did not disappoint! They slept almost the entire time and even gave us the occasional smile. Mom came prepared with 2 additional helpers, aka grandma and great grandma. Before Covid, I would have 2 assistants in the studio for safety with twins. I kept it to just myself and my assistant, Nicole. We kept the style clean and modern with a touch of softness, just like mom requested.

How to prepare for your twin newborn photography session:

  • Bring one additional helper if dad can not come. If you had a difficult birth or c section, I advise bringing 2 additional helpers but no more. Too many people in the studio will cause for a more stressful session.
  • Bring enough bottles if pumping or formula feeding. I advice at least 2 per baby.
  • Bring a paci for each. Babies often need to suck and not just to eat. This is call non-nutritive suck.
  • If breastfeeding, bring lots of water and snacks. Breastfeeding twins takes a lot of energy and hydration.
