Scottsdale Senior Photographer Miss B

Years ago, I took pictures of this sweet young lady at a local children's boutique in Arcadia. Her mamma cherished one of those images from that day as her favorite of all. When she messaged me wanting to capture Miss B's senior pictures, I was happy to say YES! They already had an awesome location picked out in Happy Jack, Arizona that they have loved hiking to for years. Miss B brought along a few outfits, accessories and props that were important to her as well. She is on the Shotgun Team at Xavier College Prep so that was a definite must, along with some paper flowers she made out of old books during the long Covid quarantine.

Need some tips on how to prepare for your senior session?

Think about how you want your senior portraits to look at pick a location based off this. Ideally it needs some shade and different backgrounds for variety. Make sure you are allowed to shoot there or that its not too busy of a place.
Iron all of your clothing
Decide of you want your glasses in the picture. If you do, consider purchasing frames without the lenses so there is no glare.
Ladies, paint those nails the night before..Guys...shave the night before.
Bring Makeup and brushes for touch ups
Bring flipflops to walk around in if you are in heels.
Have FUN! Be open to the suggestions your photographer gives you.
